Meet our team

Chad and Jessica, the dynamic husband-and-wife duo, are the proud co-owners of For Your Listening Pleasure, a premier radio restoration company based in Binghamton, NY. Their unique combination of experience, talent, and passion has been instrumental in shaping the company’s success since they took ownership in 2012.

Chad, having a deep-rooted connection with the company, practically grew up at the workbench. His journey took an intermission for five years when he enlisted in the United States Navy, serving as an electronics aviation technician. The skills and discipline acquired during his service further fortified his understanding of electronics and precision. He returned to FYLP in 1994 and has been a significant pillar of the company ever since, taking the helm as owner in 2012.

Jessica, Chad’s wife, joined the company the same year they took ownership of the Binghamton, NY shop, bringing her distinctive talents to the table. As the first voice you typically hear when you call in, she ensures a pleasant experience for everyone. Managing the online orders, emails, and relationships with customers and vendors, Jessica is a vital cog in the FYLP machine.

Our story

For Your Listening Pleasure (FYLP) is a family-owned and operated business, curated with the passion of Chad and Jessica Phillips, centered around the delicate artistry of antique radio repair and restoration. For over 50 years, FYLP Restorations, nestled in Binghamton, NY, has been bestowing impeccable service to clients worldwide.

What began as a passion for antique electronics and a desire to uphold elite standards of craftsmanship evolved into an industry-leading, comprehensive service encompassing a wide array of brands and models dating from the early 1900s to the late 1970s. Whether your radio is an RCA, Zenith, GE, Crosley, or even an international model, we have the expertise to rejuvenate its unique sound quality and aesthetic charm.

FYLP treasures your antique radios as much as you do, treating them as our own cherished family heirlooms. Our dedication to customer service is as timeless as the pieces we restore, prioritizing fast and courteous interactions alongside our unparalleled technical skill. What sets us apart is our capability to infuse modern technological tools into our restoration process. Our technicians use 3D printing, laser cutting, molding, and CAD design to recreate parts in-house when original components are no longer available.

Our legacy extends beyond individual clients; we’ve restored radios and phonographs for local museums, historical societies, and even for cinematic use. Our products have featured in movies like “The Lost City” and “Liebestraum,” national exhibits, plays, and the prestigious Sertoma million dollar antique show. We have also contributed to “The Collectors Guide to Antique Radios” books.
